



Overview
A seven-day tour across central and northern Vietnam, from the beaches and mountain resorts of Da Nang to the lantern-lit streets of Hoi An, then north to Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh.
Tour attractions: Hanoi, Halong Bay, Ninh Binh, Da Nang, Ba Na Hills and Hoi An. Accommodation is at 3-star properties on a twin or double sharing basis, with Indian dinners each evening.
Day-wise Schedule
Day 1 (21 October 2026): Arrive in Da Nang. Transfer to the hotel for check-in between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, then a four-hour city tour - Linh Ung Pagoda with the Lady Buddha statue and coastal views, the Dragon Bridge, a stroll along Love Bridge, and Han Market. Overnight in Da Nang. Meals: dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Day 2 (22 October 2026): Da Nang to Ba Na Hills, a full-day trip with cable car. Depart at 9:00 AM for the Ba Na cable car station and ride one of the world's longest cable cars up the mountain. Walk the Golden Bridge held up by giant stone hands, explore the French Village, the flower gardens and Fantasy Park. Descend by cable car and return to the hotel by 5:30 PM. Meals: breakfast and dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Day 3 (23 October 2026): Da Nang, Marble Mountain, Coconut Forest and Hoi An. A leisurely morning, then the Marble Mountains with a two-way elevator, caves and Buddhist pagodas, followed by the Non-Nuoc stone carving village. Continue to the Cam Thanh coconut jungle for basket boat rowing and net fishing. From 5:30 PM, Hoi An Ancient Town - Phuc Kien Pagoda, Phung Hung Ancient House, the Japanese Bridge and Hoi An Central Market. Overnight in Da Nang. Meals: breakfast and dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Day 4 (24 October 2026): Da Nang to Hanoi by morning flight, then a Hanoi half-day trip. Breakfast and check out, transfer to the airport for the flight to Hanoi, hotel check-in between 2:00 and 3:00 PM, and a four-hour half-day city tour in the afternoon. Overnight in Hanoi. Meals: breakfast and dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Day 5 (25 October 2026): Hanoi to Halong Bay - a one-day trip with an Indian lunch cruise. Pick-up at 8:15 AM and a 3.5 to 4 hour drive to Halong Bay. Board at Tuan Chau Harbour at noon for a 5.5 to 6 hour cruise past islets named for their shapes. Visit Surprising Cave with its stalagmites and stalactites, go kayaking or take a bamboo boat in Luon Cave, and visit Titov Island, climbing Titov Peak for a panoramic view. Disembark around 6:00 PM and return to Hanoi. Meals: breakfast, lunch and dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Day 6 (26 October 2026): Hanoi to Ninh Binh day trip - Hoa Lu ancient town and the Tam Coc boat ride. Pick-up at 8:30 AM for the 90 km drive south. A boat trip through Tam Coc, then Bich Dong Pagoda and Hoa Lu with the Dinh and Le temples. Late afternoon return to Hanoi. Meals: breakfast and dinner at an Indian restaurant.
Day 7 (27 October 2026): Departure. Breakfast at the hotel, check out and transfer to the airport. Meals: breakfast.

Who Can Participate?
- Open to YHAI members aged 15 years and above who are physically fit.
- Participants below 15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Packing
Expect warm, humid weather with occasional showers; average temperatures 26 to 30 degrees Celsius.

Money and Connectivity
- Carry USD 150 to 200 from India for personal expenses. Currency exchange is available at the hotel - retain exchange receipts.
- Mastercard and Visa credit and debit cards are accepted at some hotels, restaurants and shops. Carry small denominations for local purchases.
- Local SIM cards are best bought at the airport on arrival; affordable prepaid 4G/5G packs are available. Keep your Indian SIM active for OTPs and emergency calls.
Food
Breakfast and dinner are included daily. Carry dry snacks such as biscuits, nuts or namkeen for excursions where meal timings may be delayed. If you have dietary restrictions, carry suitable packaged food from India. Avoid carrying fresh fruit, vegetables or liquids beyond permitted limits.
Arrival and Transfers
Airport pickup and transfer to the hotel is provided at two slots, 10:00 AM and 3:00 PM, based on majority arrivals. Arrivals outside these timings must arrange their own transfer to the hotel. Hotel check-in is at 2:00 PM.
On-ground Support

Group Size
A minimum of 16 confirmed participants is required to operate the tour. If there are fewer, the organiser may cancel the batch; participants then receive a 100% refund within a stipulated time frame, or may transfer to another batch or date subject to availability.

Cancellation Policy
- Cancel 10 days or more before the travel date to receive a 50% refund of the program fee.
- Cancellations within 10 days of the travel date receive no refund under any circumstances, as all arrangements are already finalised.
- There is no credit shell option and no transfer of a booking to another batch or program.
